This system that is derived from the very popular Chiayo SDR1816 series, has all the features including 16 user selectable UHF frequencies and RF test function but with some very significant changes!
One of the major changes is in the SM716 bodypack where the PCB has been coated with an anti-corrosion lacquer to protect the tracks and components from sweat death. Often in fitness applications sweat runs off the face, down the mic cable and into the transmitter resulting in expensive and lengthy repairs. The coating process, combined with a dab of E*Gloop Protective Grease in the panel plug, will virtually eliminate this problem.
